» Support for Virusscan 4.5.1 SP1
VirusScan 4.5.1 SP1, is McAfee's last commercial anti-virus release that supports the Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows ME operating systems. Although support for this product has reached End Of Life, UNH has purchased a Custom Support Agreement from McAfee which provides for support services that include DATs, Engine Updates, and "Commercially Reasonable Effort" telephone support through June 30, 2006.

This extension provides a current anti-virus product for faculty and staff who are in the process of upgrading to Windows 2000/XP but will not have completed this by June 30, 2005 (when McAfee officially ends support for VirusScan 4.5.1). This Custom Support Agreement will not be extended beyond June 30, 2006.
