License Status | back to top | print the following article ![]() UNH/USNH has a system wide virus protection agreement with Network Associates for anti-virus protection for faculty/staff/students, Our site license includes an anti-spyware module. Support for VirusScan 4.5.1 (an older version of VirusScan for Windows 95 and Windows 98 computers) has ended. Extending our current relationship with NAI leads to continued protection for those currently using this product and now includes licensing for KSC, PSC, UNH, and USNH. This contract permits installation of the VirusScan/Virex products on desktops and servers. Customers have easy access to software updates for keeping their systems protected. In addition, faculty and staff who protect an institutionally owned computer may also protect their home computers under this license at no additional charge. Off-Campus Users: To obtain the anti-virus software for your home computer, you can either:
Faculty and Staff with AD accounts log into the VPN with their AD username/password. Students and Faculty can log into the VPN with their Blackboard username and password. |
